How much does monthly bookkeeping cost?

Do you charge extra for bookkeeping clean-up or catch-up?
Yes, clean-up and catch-up work is quoted separately from your ongoing monthly plan, since the scope depends entirely on how far behind your books are and how many accounts need to be reconciled. We'll give you a fixed quote for the clean-up before any work begins, so there's no surprise.
Is payroll included in my bookkeeping plan?
Payroll is available as an add-on to any bookkeeping plan, starting at $100/month base plus a per-employee fee. It's billed on the same monthly invoice as your bookkeeping, so you're still only dealing with one team and one bill.
How does onboarding work, and how long does it take?
After your free consultation and proposal, onboarding typically takes 1 to 2 weeks: we connect your bank and credit card feeds, review your chart of accounts, and complete any necessary clean-up before your first full monthly cycle begins.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No. Our standard bookkeeping agreements are month-to-month, and you can cancel with notice at any time. If you'd like to lock in special pricing, we also offer a discounted rate for clients who sign a 12-month (or longer) agreement upfront.
If I sign up for a year, do I get a discount?
Yes. Clients who commit to a 12-month or longer engagement receive preferred pricing compared to month-to-month billing. Ask about annual pricing during your free consultation, and we'll show you both options side by side.
What software do you use, and do I need to switch?
We're Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisors and primarily work in QBO. If you're currently on a different platform, we can migrate your data, or in some cases work within your existing system. We'll walk through the best option for your business during onboarding.
What if my books are a mess or I haven't filed in a while?
